Objective: The players of this skill-based game need to draft the best possible teams based on application of certain knowledge (gathered through systematic research), observation, experience and adroitness regarding the relevant sport. They need to select the athletes who perform best in the actual sport match. There are multiple contests within a match and a player can enter into any contest by purchasing a ticket and creating a team. To create a team a player is provided with 100 credits to select 11 athletes. Each athlete has an associated credit cost to it. The player selects 11 athletes with the constraints of selecting a minimum 4 athletes from one team. Furthermore, the player needs to select at least 3 batsman, 3 bowlers, 3 all-rounders and 1 wicket-keeper. Within the selected athletes the player needs to select a captain and vice captain. The game requires player's exercise of knowledge, judgment, attention and adroitness in understanding the game rules. The player must also acquaint himself with the past performance, physical state and form of athletes available for selection across multiple categories and assess the relative worth of an athlete and the anticipated statistics arising out of the athlete's performance in the underlying real-world event. The player should devise a strategy basis all the afore-said factors and use the available balance in accordance with the research and analysis conducted by the player. Scoring - The player gets fantasy points for the performance of athletes in his team. - Each milestone has different points - for example scoring a fifty would give the player 8 points, a century would yield 16 points. - The points for Captain are doubled and for VC - 1.5x points are given. Duration and Prize Money - The players create the teams before the match and the reward is disbursed after the match. - Each contest has a pre-defined prize distribution strategy as well as the prize pool. The players can see the information: - Team created by the player - Points scored by the team created by the player - Maximum number of players allowed in the contest and number of players who have already joined The player with the maximum fantasy points wins. Prize distribution system for every contest may vary. Hence, prize may be distributed to multiple players in some contest in accordance with applicable rule.
